This month we got the chance to meet and chat with Fendi Xu, Founder and Creative Director of LETOIT, which can be found on Seezona. Fendi founded the brand in 2020, inspired by the structural elements of different medieval architectures and old photographs from her mother. What inspired you to start LETOIT?
It was my appreciation and interest in architectural design and minimalist aesthetics that inspired me to start LETOIT. I wanted to create a brand that expresses simplicity and sophisticated designs.
What is your vision for the brand?
LETOIT embodies the idea that fashion should be effortless and functional. We create versatile, well-crafted pieces that can be worn in a variety of settings and last for years to come. Ultimately, our vision is to inspire a movement towards minimalism and mindful consumption in fashion, and to create a community of individuals who share our values and appreciate the beauty of simplicity.
How does it feel to now be selling online on Seezona.com and physically at Seezona, NK?
We’re delighted to be partners with Seezona and NK. It is exciting to have LETOIT’s collections on Seezona online and physically at Seezona, NK Stockholm. This enables us to reach a crowd that shares a common appreciation for simplicity and sustainability.
Where do you draw inspiration for your collections?
I find inspiration from architectural structures and elements from nature. I create silhouettes by combining strong architectural structures and I also use delicate fabrics to create the perfect blend of delicacy and force.
What are your hopes for the future?
I hope that more people will be aware of the importance of sustainable fashion and appreciate well-crafted long-lasting pieces. For LETOIT, I hope that we will expand our community and maintain our values.
