Interview with Stefanie Helen
This month we are getting to know German influencer Stefanie Helen! Stefanie has a chic and vibrant style that inspires us to add more color into our closets. Read more about her style and the inspiration behind it in this interview.
How would you describe your style in 3 words?
Extrovert, pastel-coloured, ladylike.
Some pieces have the power to give you confidence in any situation. Do you have any such pieces in your wardrobe? Tell us about what makes them so special to you.
Clothes and the way you wear them can be a real weapon in everyday life. No matter who I want to impress or please. The right outfit helps so much! My uniform when I want to feel strong is a great cut blazer in beige. I often wear it a little oversized, for a cool boyfriend look with broad shoulders. If I want to appear more feminine it is great to waist the blazer with a fancy statement belt.
What does luxury mean to you? Explain how it is reflected in your everyday life and style.
Luxury is something that makes life more beautiful and I love to earn it myself. For me, unpacking a special piece of clothing is luxury! But so is an evening with my best friend where we just chat for hours or to stroke my cat's fur is luxury for me!
Aside of fashion, we would love to hear about your other interests in life! What is your driving force?
Photography! I love to take beautiful pictures. Most of all I like to stage still life beautifully. Being creative and capturing a mood in a photo is the most beautiful thing for me and the reason why I actually started with Instagram. My other addiction is club cycling! Good music and sport is a very fun and addictive mix!
Which women in your life have inspired your life and style?
In fact, since I was a little girl the classic icons have inspired me. Women like Grace Kelly and Lady Diana. My mom has a fantastic style but it's much crazier and edgier than my classic style. My current style icons and probably forever are Olivia Palermo and Julia Berolzheimer.
Has finding inspiration and creativity been a struggle during this pandemic? How did you cope with it?
I have often suffered from the pandemic and even stopped dressing at all in lockdown...I think the important thing is to develop a routine and make a date with your bestie or something special even at home worth getting dressed up for and put on a great outfit. Color is definitely a game changer! A dress with pink flowers or an orange sweater make you immediately happy when you look in the mirror. When you have a colourful outfit on, ideas start flowing and the desire to dress up comes back again.
Last but not least: which are your 3 favorite designers on seezona.com What do you love the most about them?
I love the AGGI blazers. One of the few brands that manages to make a blazer look great worn open and closed alike. So good also with the matching pants.
Viktoria CHAN is also fantastic with her minimalistic colors and yet very special cuts. For outstanding everyday looks.
AÈRYNE has my favorite color palette with many soft pastel tones like lilac and rosé.
