Interview with Mandy Bork
What is your favourite part of being a fashion influencer?
Definitely to travel the world and to meet all the interesting and cool people. Also, I love meeting the brains behind brands. I’ve made so many amazing memories during these last years that I will never forget.
Your life on social media looks very glamorous, is it reflective to your day-to-day life?
Yes and no - it depends if I have a red carpet event or not. A normal day in my life is not so glamorous, but I still like to dress up even if it’s just for a coffee with a friend.
How would you describe your personal style in three words?
Feminine and chic, but also comfy.
Would you say that all of your travels have influenced your style in any way, if so - how?
A lot! I’ve seen so many amazing and stylish people around the world and that has really inspired me. Also, I’ve gotten more confident during the last years to wear colours and patterns, and to mix and match more. Fashion is so much fun!
What role do you think social media plays in the fashion industry today?
It’s like the new generation of magazines for me. I remember when I was younger and I used to buy magazines like Vogue to get inspired. Now you can easily go to social media and follow so many stylish people all around the world in just one click and all kinds of looks - from beach looks to mountain looks. Even high fashion gets approachable because you feel connected to the influencers wearing them. I think that’s wonderful!
Last but not least: which are your three favourite designers from seezona.com and what do you love about them?
AGGI is one of my fave designers - the colours and styles are bomb! So modern but still wearable. Love it!
AÉRYNE - love the fabrics! The styles are super chic but cool.
Belfiori Couture - Super feminine and sexy - love it!
