Interview with Nicole Nordin

This month we got the chance to sit down with Nicole Nordin. Nicole is CEO for Alline Agency, part owner of the popular shoe brand Inuikii and a mother of three. We are so impressed & inspired by her positive energy that she spreads around her and of course, her entrepreneurial spirit.

How would you describe your style?

Classic with a twist of rock occasionally. I love to pair classic pieces, like the perfect pair of denim, with something ”extra” like a shirt with an aesthetic edge or a great coat. I’m always on the go, so practical outerwear and comfortable shoes that I can walk in all day are essential. Furthermore, I tend to adapt my style to where I’m traveling; more tailored in NYC, bohemian romantic in Paris and definitely bringing colors and fun prints to Milan.

Which trends do you see this spring? Do you have a favorite that you will follow?

There’s simply not one thing or trend to follow. I think that there are no rules in fashion – you set your own! This spring, I’ll let my travel destinations and mood decide what I’ll be wearing. One thing is sure though; every day is extra and our life is our runway – so make sure you dress the way you feel comfortable with and keep doing you.

Some pieces have the power to make you feel confident in any situation. Do you have such pieces in your wardrobe? Tell us about what makes them so special to you.

INUIKII Shoes! They are my go to for any situation and I always feel comfortable in them wherever I go and with whomever I meet. INUIKII has a way of playing with materials creating shoes that can really transform a look (and mood!). The shoes are practical, yet fun with shapes and eye-catching color combinations making any look interesting. Also, as I’m a partner of the brand, of course it means a lot to me wearing my own label.

Aside of fashion, we would love to hear about your other interests in life! What is your driving force?

I love cooking and eating nutritious food – acai bowl is a favorite that I make every morning (or even have for dinner). I work out to be stronger and healthier and to maintain a high energy level to keep up with an active lifestyle. Balance between work and my kids is key to me and I hope that I spread a good vibe in my companies while influencing my children to follow their passion and dreams in life.

Every time we meet you, you are so energized & full of inspiration. What’s your secret?

I want to live every day to the fullest! I’m a high-energy person with a happy mindset. I move prestige-less through life and I’m always thankful for the little things. I think appreciation is very important: focus on all the things that you have and how far you have come and always keep a healthy perspective on life’s challenges. The people in your life makes a big difference; in your energy, confidence, ambition and mood. Choose to surround yourself with those who lift you up, encourage and inspire you. Also, working with something that I have a passion for is key for maintaining energy and inspiration.
