Interview with Hanna Schönberg

This month we have had a quick chat with Hanna Schönberg, content creator and founder of the clothing brand Arakii. Her brand Arakii was founded in March 2022 and is also available at Seezona. With over 600 k followers on Instagram, and a minimalistic yet edgy style, Hanna is a style icon that we can’t get enough of. What does luxury mean to you?

I believe that luxury can be found in a lot of things. Being able to work as a designer and content creator, travel and discover beautiful places, and meet inspiring people all over the world, feels like a luxury to me. I am fortunate to be able to make a living from working with something that I truly love and am so passionate about, and that’s something I never take for granted.

When did you realize that fashion had a special meaning to you? Do you have a particular memory to share?

Ever since I was a child, I have always loved clothes and dressing up. I remember how I as young was walking around in my mother’s heels, playing around with her clothes and jewellery, as well as creating my own clothes. Looking back at old photos is so much fun - I was never afraid of playing around with different fabrics, prints, and colors. I have been very experimental with my style throughout the years and have always had a lot of fun with fashion, exactly as it should be. While growing up, I think everyone around me knew that I would end up working with something fashion related.

How did you decide to create your own clothing brand?

Having my own clothing brand has been my biggest dream for as long as I can remember.

What is most important for you when designing for Arakii?

I only design pieces that I personally love and feel that I miss in my own wardrobe. I always strive to design clothes that will hold and last, as well as make you feel comfortable and confident. I believe that the clothes you are wearing always should empower you, and I want my customers to feel beautiful when wearing Arakii. My vision with Arakii is to inspire my community to experiment with their everyday style by adding playful key pieces and unique details.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs and your everyday style?

I find inspiration everywhere! For example, from watching people on the street, talented creators on social media, fashion shows, old pictures, and all my stylish friends. Last but not least, a major source of inspiration to me is nature and the beautiful changes in the seasons. For example, I get inspired by beautiful sunsets, waves on the beach, and blooming flowers.

Last but not least, which are your favorite designers on Seeozona and why?

Besides my own brand Arakii, I am very fascinated by Manuri, Musier Paris, and Simonett. I simply love their unique designs and eye for detail.
