Get to know Juny better and discover her favourite brands on Seezona in the interview below.

What advice would you give to young girls wishing to pursue a career within fashion?

My best advice would be to make sure that you have a family member or someone else who truly believes in you, and is there to support you. I remember myself as a young girl, not being so confident about myself. We tend to put our value into the hands of people that we admire and look up to, which can be very dangerous for your mental health when you are young and aiming to pursue a fashion career. Make sure to always protect your mental stability, believe in your gut and be patient!

How do you do to stand out from the crowd?

I've come to realize that each person is unique and that each individual will stand out sooner or later, in one way or another. It just takes patience and being your true self before the right people will spot you. I don't think it's the best idea to show yourself off in order to stand out, nor to actively search for fame. Also, remember that it’s okay to not stand out, we are all special individuals to someone and to ourselves.

What's been your go-to look during 2021?

I would say a pair of vintage jeans paired with a cute top and layered with a jacket.

Name one fashion trend that you wish would have a comeback, and one that you wish would never see the light of day again?

I am so glad about mesh tops being back in fashion! Actually, I recently edited a small capsule of mesh tops in collaboration with Cop Copine. It was a dream to dive back into the 90’s/00’s!

I wish we never go back to low waist denims, to be honest. I did not enjoy that era.. haha!

Last but not least, which are your 3 favourite designers on seezona.com and why?

STATEMENT N.9, for their amazing strong architectural blazers.

MOYE, for their amazing simple and perfect cut silk dresses.

MUSIER Paris, for their modern yet feminine looks.
