Swantje Soemmer is a German, Bali-based fashion influencer and blogger, with more than 50k followers on Instagram. Swantje’s interest in fashion started at an early age, and after studying fashion and textile she founded her blog, which she has been working full-time with since 2017. Swantje’s style is feminine, yet simple, and her outfits always look spot on! Get to know Swantje better, and discover her favourites at Seezona, in our exclusive interview with her.

How would you describe your style in three words?

Feminine and simple, but with a twist!

What is your first fashion-related memory?

As far back as I can remember, I have loved wearing dresses and skirts. I don’t know why, but pants were always an absolute no-go for me back then.

Name a fashion trend that you would like to see making a comeback and one that you wish to never see again?

We live in a time where everyone should wear what they want - there is no right or wrong. Just be yourself and wear the clothes you like! However, one fashion trend I’d really want to see more of is bold colours and retro patterns.

Do you consider there to be any fashion rules you must follow?

If you do feel unsure, get inspiration on Pinterest or Instagram. You really can't go wrong when getting inspiration from there. However, try not to pretend to be someone you are not, always highlight your own personality and interpret the styles and trends in your own way.

Last but not least, which are your favourite designers on seezona.com and what do you like about them?

Aéryne — The perfect mix of simple and classy pieces with some pops of colour.

Atoir — The shapes, colours and patterns are perfectly balanced. Sexy, elegant and feminine at its best.

Musier Paris — Beautiful pieces with the most amazing details. Especially the pieces with the pearl details - those are my favourites!
